My Mother's day

If you read my post on May 6 you know I put a question to you. Thanks to those who replied, I did take your responses and the sacred skillet to my husband and he seen the error of his ways. Sunday morning I woke up to a lovely yet humorous card, and a gorgeous hanging plant for my porch. In addition to that I was banned from all housework and cleaning (that about drove me nuts), but was nice :) I had no dish duty, yard work or cooking duties! Woohoo! So he did pull it out for me at the last moment. He's a great man! I'm so lucky to have him in my life! ((((hugs))) for hubby.
My daughter also surprised me! She is an 18 year old art student preparing for graduation but she took the time out to make this wonderful pillow! She is really into recycling and reusing things that would otherwise be thrown out (I think this is really great!). She spent hours sewing scrapes of fabric together, and cutting out this great design. I'm truly grateful for the effort and time she spent doing this for me ! And every time I use it I will think of her. (((hugs))) to Trina! One side has a sun design, the opposite side has a moon theme. She knows how I love these two designs and it was very special and thoughtful!
I had a great Mother's day, How about you?!
